What customers say about "Size & Weight"
Canon EOS M3 Mirrorless Camera Kit
  • The size and weight are fantastic for the images I've seen so far.
  • The small lens size is a help too. I can literally place a lens in a pocket of a pair of cargo pants.
  • If you're a Canon user, and are looking for something in between a full frame model and a carry-everywhere, pocket-sized camera, you should definitely consider the M3.
  • The portability and light weight of the M3 are a big plus.
Olympus OM-D E-M10 Mark II Compact System Camera in Black + 14-42 EZ Lens
  • Easy and light to carry around, great quality of photos & video for the size/price.
  • One really special thing about it is its lovely neat size, compared to the bulk of the old one.
  • Fantastic Medium sized Camera. Easy to use and great photos, highly recommended.
  • I was influenced by the compact body size (with standard pancake lens) and the extensive feature list.
  • I bought this camera recently as I wanted a small camera with the characteristics of an SLR without the weight.

What customers say about "Imaging"
Canon EOS M3 Mirrorless Camera Kit
  • Dynamic range could be slightly better at base ISO, but as soon as you increase ISO to 1000 or above, it is the best in its class.
  • Camera uses higher ISO values too aggressively.
  • These take great pictures. I'm pleased with the 2 zoom lenses and you'll find the range will cover most of your needs.
  • The focus is much faster and the zoom focus allows me to make sure my focus is tack sharp–this is a major improvement over the 1st generation of EOS M cameras.
  • There doesn't seem to be a picture-in-picture zoomed focusing mode for manual focusing, which is a shame.
  • One problem is that the autofocus is a little out of sync when I take close up pictures but all I do is stand back a little and just zoom in and everything is perfect.
Olympus OM-D E-M10 Mark II Compact System Camera in Black + 14-42 EZ Lens
  • This is a very good camera, image quality from the 14-42 lens is very good.
  • Even though it's only 16MP, the image quality is very good as the smaller sensor isn't overloaded by too many pixels (as is the case with some higher MP small cameras).
  • It is extremely compact and easy to carry around. The quality of the images is oustanding.
  • Shoots great in most conditions although can be a little tricky to use in low light as you have to use very slow shutter speeds which can lead to blurred/noisy images.
  • The image stabiliser is excellent on the macro but trying to track anything in flight results in a blur regardless of the settings.

What customers say about "Display"
Canon EOS M3 Mirrorless Camera Kit
  • The touch screen can be incredibly useful to focus in the same instance.
  • Due to a life of guitar playing, my fingertips are tough and smooth and don't work well on many touch screens, including the M3 at default. Fortunately, the M3 has adjustable touch sensitivity. With sensitivity set to the highest level, touch screen operation became silky smooth and responsive!
Olympus OM-D E-M10 Mark II Compact System Camera in Black + 14-42 EZ Lens
  • Touch screen which can be used to auto focus at desired point, straight to device wifi, and adjustable screen make this an awesome future proof camera.
  • The metal and plastic casing isn’t weatherproof, but amongst other things it contains a very good 5 axis image stabilisation system, built in WiFi, a 3" moveable touch screen, an electronic viewfinder.
  • In terms of practicality, the tilting LCD screen is a particularly useful feature for shooting tricky angles.
  • It is touchscreen, which I find convenient for changing the focus of the picture without fiddling with buttons.
  • Good looking and compact. Sometimes the screen turns off when taking a picture. I am still looking into it, maybe it is a bug or maybe it is normal...

What customers say about "Features"
Canon EOS M3 Mirrorless Camera Kit
  • Just set it to full auto and its all the point and shoot you would ever need!
  • It fit a flash, a mini tripod, the charger, and various other accouterments for serious shooting.
  • Shutter speeds were fast, and previewed images looked sharp and beautiful.
  • That said, generally speaking, once it gets a focus lock the single-shot shutter button is nice and snappy. The focus lock speed depends on the lens. It is pleasantly quick with the stock lens and the adapted 50mm.
  • It slows down slightly indoors but is still of slr speed. Indoors it really needs the infrared focus assist light to be quick, but you have the option to turn off that front red light.
Olympus OM-D E-M10 Mark II Compact System Camera in Black + 14-42 EZ Lens
  • Nice feature I find really useful on this camera is the built in WiFi - not only is it so easy to transfer pictures straight across to your mobile, it also gives you full remote control of your camera, including live preview.
  • Anti shake technology is good to make handheld photography a pleasure. It's very effective and also highly configurable, depending on your situation and what you are trying to do.
  • Not the best camera in low light features arent defined very well.
  • Art modes are fun, and the scene modes can be quite useful and very easy to use. Of course all the settings are there if you want to do anything manually.
  • I am staggered by how many features and modes this camera has (as well as interaction with my mobile phone that can be used a remote trigger and view-finder) and after 4 months still have much to learn.

What customers say about "Connectivity"
Canon EOS M3 Mirrorless Camera Kit
  • The biggest feature for her was the NFC wireless transmittal of photos from the camera to her smartphone.
  • The Wi-Fi connectivity allows for quick upload of images to social media through the phone app.
  • Good for quick snap for memories sake and street photography (when lighting is optimal).
  • Wifi connection through a Canon app is possible also, but it's nowhere as convenient as the IR remote method because you do have to keep your finger on the phone for trigger.
  • Battery and SD card share the same door on bottom of camera.
Olympus OM-D E-M10 Mark II Compact System Camera in Black + 14-42 EZ Lens
  • USB port is really fast, you can quickly interact with pc via USB.
  • The gorgeous quality of all the details of the camera, the ports are made so that I have no fear that they will be broken.
  • Half a year has passed since the moment of purchase. The camera works perfectly, screen photo quality, lens, ports, everything is great.
  • After three months of working with the camera, the usb port stopped working.
  • Connecting via USB to a laptop can take a couple of minutes while the laptop tries to recognize this camera (laptop recognizes the rest of the devices immediately).
