Scanning documents was fast and easy with the ADF.
The scanned images were clearer than the original 30 year old photos.
The scanner was smart enough to scan the grouped photos as 3 separate and perfectly cropped images.
I am very happy with the quality of the scanning and printing.
Print quality is terrible. Even after completing the print head alignment per instructions printed photos have conspicuous vertical streaks in them.

The print quality and color are ok. Good capacity of cartridges.
It was very reasonably priced for a set of all 5 cartridges. Great cartridges.
I prefer this type of printer with multiple cartridges, rather than one color cartridge that runs out all at once.
The ink cartridges do not last long at all.
Cartridges are quite difficult to replace and cost expensive.

Its got great color range being a 6 cartridge printer and gives you comparable quality prints with similar priced printers.
It does print out max 8x10 borderless photo with extremely details, thanks to its 6 color cartridges.
The cartridges are very expensive, great capacity.

The Epson iPrint app is great. I can easily print from my Samsung tablet and phone.
It looks to print well. Not very noisy. Two paper trays.
The software install was very easy.
Two paper trays and two sided printing, quiet.
This printer has some nice features, like a top feed copier which makes copying and scanning faster.

This was a gift to help start my business. Excellent features.
Has all the features a home user will need, highly recommended for home office user.
I am surprised how good quality of printing is the touch screen is a good feature.
I found it easy to set up & it has great features & duplex printing.
I have had this a year. Now the Epson-8500 says that it is not connected. The USB is connected, and now I am stuck.
