It looks great, very simple to operate and produces excellent prints for a machine of this price point.

It is quicker, quieter, and so far the telephone support has been much better.
Build quality is good, very robust and surprising given the relative lightness of the unit.
Printed images are good, and I cannot fault the printer in this respect.
It is a good quality unit, lightweight but of robust construction and, if my Dad’s experience with his similar model is anything to go by, it will last for years. Oh, and it also produces good quality photographs.
A good print quality but a tad slow especially when using in duplex mode.

The print quality is good. The scanner works well. It prints relatively quietly too.
The scanner is reasonably fast (for this type of machine) and the printer is great.
Good quality colour and good scans which copy well.
Installation went without a problem, scanning process can be made via my laptop and printing process is clear.
The paper feed at the back is good, although it doesn't hold a huge amount of paper.

It's a nice, small and compact printer with good quality prints, like all Pixma printers.
Printing copying and scanning all work with good resolution, good print quality, good colour reproduction.
Printer took a bit of getting used to but print quality is excellent.
The print quality on photos is excellent and it does lots of clever things such as double sided printing.
Scanning was fine as was copying. All-in-all, a good printer at a good price.

I like the fact that it has individual ink cartridges rather than the combined colour ones.
A big benefit of a Canon is that you have 5 separate ink jet cartridges, so you do not waste a lot of ink as you do with 3 colour in 1 cartridge models.
Very smart look and very good quality copy and fast! The ink cartridges are all individual. I highly recommend this!
Great printer. Individual colour cartridges always get my vote. Just doesn’t do double sided which I didn’t spot in the description. Is great quick and fairly quiet.
Great printer but the cartridges are not cheap. Easy to set up and a doddle to use.

I'm impressed by the length of time that the initial cartridges have lasted.
Original ink cartridges are not cheap, but they do produce the best pictures, so factor in the cost of those as consumables rather than any alternatives if photo printing is your aim.
Printing 3 -5 sheets a day with the cartridges it came with and their only just now half full.
The printer will not recognize the cartridge and continues displaying an error sign. The printer will not function.
It eats the ink sooo quick and the cartridges are very expensive.

Canon PIXMA TS5050 All-In-One Printer

I prefer to connect using USB rather than WiFi and this works well, although there is no USB cable supplied with it.
The colour display on the front is excellent, although it has to be left flipped up for the paper to come out.
Setting it up was a breeze with both my Macbook Pro and two Android phones, I absolutely loved the fact that it discovers the wifi network settings so all you have to do is confirm it on the printer (no typing in complicated passwords on a little screen).
I like that both the paper feed support and the paper out tray can both be tidied away - and being able to angle the screen makes using it when it's 'hidden' away a lot easier.
Works great for the price. Easy set up with just smartphone using the app. No need to a computer at all.

Canon PIXMA TS6150 3-in-1 Printer - Black (Old Model)

This is a great printer, and seems to have all the features of the TS8000 series including two paper trays, but is slightly smaller & lighter.
Setup using wifi was relatively straightforward, menus are logical and easy to use, I really like the fact that it shows the remaining ink on the front LCD panel and it doesnt take up too much space on the desk.
This printer is easy to set up and connects well.
It doesn’t require a lead from the laptop so is more versatile than my previous one.
I found that the standard printing is very good, but manipulating pictures is not easy, and the software is limited in this regard.
