I think the sound is excellent, the unit itself is very nice, high quality, i like the controls, the scroll wheel is sensitive.
It is very versatile and easy to switch between both uses.
The audio flows nicely through the USB C and it sounds great through my speakers. I have still to connect it up via an amp but it will be very simple to do so.
The device feels classy the build quality is very good and most importantly the sound is excellent.
The screen is not touch sensitive which is fine as it is not needed, the screen is super bright and the album cover art looks superb.

This is a small machine which feels very well made.
Very well made, sounds awesome and plays gapless! I am very pleased with the size of this device.
Brilliant little player. Real hi-if and sounds great through phones, direct through hi end hifi or even bluetooth.
Small, compact and very well engineered. I like the balance of the sound, and it is very good for money paid.
I'm not displeased, as it's perfect to slide into your jean pocket but not to small to slip out.

The operating system is logical and easy to use. It takes very large capacity cards which give it a huge capacity for music, even if you keep all of your files in a lossless form.
Output quality is excellent, although it obviously depends on what speakers or earphones/earplugs you are using.
The UI takes a wee bit time to get used to. I find that it is more ergonomic to operate if I hold the device in my left hand. The wheel and buttons work nicely.
I haven’t played much with Bluetooth capabilities but it worked well in my mate’s car and it paired easily with a Samsung s7.
The bluetooth range is very small and the player is constantly disconnected from the speaker if I take it a couple of steps.

Battery life is very good and recharging is reasonably quick.
The battery life is excellent. I used it for over 8 hours recently with plenty power left.
It has an average battery life, which is enough to use this player all day.
Battery life is poor compared to the sony (10 hrs vs 40 hrs) , gets warm to the touch after extended play.
The battery life lasted about 5 hours instead of the 10 promised.
