What customers say about "Key Specs"
SanDisk Extreme PRO SSD 960 GB Sata III 2.5 Inch Internal up to 550 MB/s
  • So I have the need for speed when I spend a few hours editing these files and this...is the drive used and it can't be too fast.
  • After installing Windows 10 on this hard drive, I was blown away by the speed.
  • It's done a great job so far handling all of these tasks with speed.
  • I had no idea just how much faster my computer would be with this hard drive.
  • When the drive works as advertised, the speed is still great. Will not choose Sandisk again in the future for an SSD Solution.
Samsung 850 PRO 250GB 1 TB 2.5 inch SATA III Solid State Drive
  • The speed of the SSD once configured is phenomenal, files and write speeds are unparalleled for the cost of this SSD, making it one, if not the best on the market.
  • The read and write speeds are incredible and I would never go back to an old spinning drive.
  • This drive has excellent specifications in terms of read/write speeds and lifespan, more than justifying it's slight additional cost compared to it's competitors.
  • This is only 500gb but since i was only using 350 gb anyway, it's a decent trade off for the speed and efficiency of this excellent disk.
  • I've a Q6600 Dual Core around eight years old and this disk feels like it has increased it's apparent speed by a factor of eight or so.

What customers say about "Features"
SanDisk Extreme PRO SSD 960 GB Sata III 2.5 Inch Internal up to 550 MB/s
  • And some extra features and specification it offers over cheaper alternatives may prove its value in long term.
  • I'm a consumer who is not into gaming. I see that one of the promoted features of this SSD is improved gaming speed and performance.
  • The 10 year warranty was an amazing feature!
  • SSD have no moving parts, thus very quiet and resist damage from vibration. This makes them ideal for laptops.
  • I think Apple tests their OS with flash drives, so as they increase the Input/Output read write counts when adding features/security protections, they don't notice the issues caused in systems with using hard disks.
Samsung 850 PRO 250GB 1 TB 2.5 inch SATA III Solid State Drive
  • This Samsung SSD and the superb utility Samsung Magician is worth the extra cost, no doubt in my mind.
  • Once the SSD is removed, the first thing that will most likely strike you is the weight, the SSD itself weights almost nothing. The brushed metal casing feels strong and sturdy.
  • Samsung Magician software - don't bother. There's some optimization stuff there you can use, you can turn on a 'RAPID' mode which uses your RAM to boost read/writes (fake boost, really), etc - mostly pointless and they just confuse the benchmarks without having any real benefit. Don't bother.
  • The companion software Samsung have developed (Magician and Migrator) are also great and very easy to use and full featured.
  • The included Samsung magician software is high quality and much more full featured compared to other SSD vendors which almost justifies the price premium for me.
