What customers say about "Size & Weight"
Sony SRS-XB41 Portable Wireless Waterproof Speaker with Extra Bass, Black
  • This is my go to speaker to throw into my bag most of the time. I wouldn't want anything bigger for a portable speaker.
  • The size is not too big and is comfy to carry.
  • The sound quality is amazing and despite its smaller size can get very loud and volume goes up A LOT.
  • Great speaker, with a lovely sound and amazing bass for its size.
  • What I like best though is the size, weight and feel of it. It feels so robust and modern.
JBL Charge 3 Waterproof Portable Bluetooth Speaker
  • OMG this is such an impressive little speaker. It's about the size off a large can of beer.
  • For me it is a great size and has wonderful sound. It packs a good sound punch for its size.
  • Every thing about this speaker is great, good size, great sound, already thinking about buying another one to link together.
  • Great sound as you would expect from JBL and much more than you would expect from a device of this size.
  • Great sound from such a small speaker. Lovely design.Fabulous packaging!

What customers say about "Features"
Sony SRS-XB41 Portable Wireless Waterproof Speaker with Extra Bass, Black
  • The water proofing is great, sits in my bathroom most of the time if I'm not packing it away.
  • The lights are fantastic, initially, I thought these were going to be gimmicky and just a clever marketing ploy, but after having them i found myself staring at them more often than not!
  • Love the sound, really quite loud and plenty of bass for a smallish speaker.
  • The App allow you to set the equalisation as you like it.
  • Lights are a great effect but do seem a little... chaotic. They respond very well to music but they do seem to respond to every sound, including lyrics, rather than just following a beat.
JBL Charge 3 Waterproof Portable Bluetooth Speaker
  • I'm being picky but overall very happy and the waterproof rating is nice comfort for using it wherever.
  • It is supposed to be waterproof so it is excellent for using outside in the garden for parties etc. Very easy to set up.
  • I like the bass response and ease of use, huge battery life and water resistance.
  • I love that this is waterproof - pouring water in the ends with music with a heavy bass playing is a great party trick!
  • For it's size, the sound quality and bass is quite impressive. Also plus point for being waterproof.

What customers say about "Interfaces"
Sony SRS-XB41 Portable Wireless Waterproof Speaker with Extra Bass, Black
  • You can charge with USB now in addition to the propritory Sony connector which saves on space if you take this around with you.
  • The thing I appreciate most of it, is that is recharged by usb as well as the AC power which is very important for me.
  • It has a USB on the back so you can plug your phone into it and it charges.
  • It too in turn can charge a device ie, your phone from it’s full size usb socket!
  • Doubles as a USB charging device, which is handy. Also no issues with it connecting to my Android phone, a consistently quick connection - quicker than other bluetooth speakers I own.
JBL Charge 3 Waterproof Portable Bluetooth Speaker
  • The usb allows you to utilise the speaker as a 'fast charging' power bank, which provided my Moto G4 with 3 charges before it was drained completely.
  • Versatile in that it's Bluetooth , can be linked to other speakers, has aux plug for non Bluetooth players and you can use it to charge Other stuff with USB cable.
  • The sound quality is excellent also is ease of use. Connect your device by Bluetooth or hard wire by a 3.5mm audio cable and off you go.
  • The only downside to me is the fact that it uses a micro usb cable, I mean there are still many products that use this but as time goes by I feel that we are heading more towards usb c.
  • Would prefer a better battery life and it should use USB-C to charge now as I would be able to charge it from my phone cable.
