Having only tried Google Cardboard the Gear VR was a huge step up, the extra sensors mean the device is extremely responsive.
Really glad I purchased this and it's given me a bigger taste for VR!

Very good! Can have loads of fun using this vr headset but use a bigger phone than an iPhone 4/5 as it is not as good on smaller screen great for the amazing price though!
The compartment that holds your phone slides in and out very easily and the phone housing springs are good and strong, so there is no risk of your phone falling out.
Quality wise this is brilliant. Very adjustable both with the head straps, and the lens adjusters. The vr app market is quite limited at the moment, but what is available works well.
Initially comfortable and seemingly durable, this is a good way to watch VR enabled content.
To hold the phone in place there is a bit of plastic with a spring in the back. It worked OK the first time but when removing the phone the spring flew out.

Having never tried VR previously I was presently surprised. The headset itself is very light weight and comfortable.
Its lightweight. I have tried other VR headsets for much more money which have been heavier and more uncomfortable.
It is comfortable to wear and easy to adjust the straps to fit each size head in our home.
Great built quality, comfortable to wear, easy to use, light weight. Most important is how good the VR content looks with this headset.
This product - great value for money, comfortable and lightweight.

It is reasonably comfortable and not excessively heavy to use.
This product is very light weight and doesn't feel too heavy on your head after using it for 15minutes.
The material is very light which makes it much more easier on the neck, the strap is very comfortable.
These are a bit on the heavy side and I found that the head band kept trying to pop off my head due to the weight of these at the front with no counter weight for the back.
I did find that after a few minutes of wear, it felt a little heavy on my head, so I would not advise using it for longer periods of time.

Takes about 10 minutes to download the apps and pop the straps on. Comes with some free sample videos in the software.
There are controls on the body to control volume etc so this has come as a great surprise. Good piece of kit.
Great, came with adapter for USB and USB type C, so if I upgrade phone will still be compatible.
Makes the phone overheat within a few minutes. By the time you've got everything setup and started it's switched off. Not worth the bother.
My phone tends to overheat very quickly while using it so don't get long before it doesn't work. My phone is a Samsung Galaxy S7.

Phone fits well and the adjustable nature of the lens makes it easy for anyone to use. Also padding makes it comfortable to wear.
