Very good build quality. Laptop built with eco friendly material but boasts well performing processor.
The ThinkPad L420 is a decent small-business laptop with exceptional build quality. Processor has good speed and decent graphics.
Lenovo equips the small 14 inch notebook with a strong Intel Core i5-2520M processor.
The 2520M's performance is even quite sufficient for more demanding tasks, such as HD video editing.
The Intel Graphics 3000 card most certainly doesn't belong to the fastest graphic solutions. It works slow and laggy.

Relatively quick processor and ram, adequate hard drive, up to date operating system (64 bit).
Really good keyboard. Good memory and processor.
Construction is very solid, makes it a faithful machine at all times. Good processor.
No noise, the cooler system is perfect. Fast processor.

Amazing laptop with big storage capacity for all data.
This laptop is amazing. 500Gb of space is amazing value.
Good laptop for all the basics need. It has good RAM and HDD working on good speeds.
The DDR3 memory is very slow and this laptop lags everywhere.
In the times, when all data was written directly to the drive, the 500gb is very low.

Excellent keyboard and touchpad. It is a complete satisfaction to type on this.
Prolific typists will be happy with the keyboard as the keyboard is good quality and good size for a laptop.
Nothing should stand in the way of outdoor use with this matte display.
The screen resolution is too low. At a time, the 1600 x 900 is a must have minimum.
Bad viewing angles. The picture falsifies quickly when the display is tilted up or down.

It has a lot of features that don't come standard on more recent laptops.
The price was right. Has a lot of useful features.

This laptop provide really good selection of ports.
The L420 has an above average port selection for a 14-inch notebook, including DisplayPort, eSATA, and an ExpressCard/54 slot.
The Lenovo ThinkPad L420 has quite a bit to offer in terms of connectivity.
The L420 does not have USB 3.0, so every data transfer would take a long time.
Unfortunately, Lenovo doesn't install any USB 3.0 ports.
