I was looking for modest size speakers with good sound. They are placed on the floor without stands.
Really pleased with the sound from these little speakers (ran from Naim amps with qed silver leads) making no exception for their size or price.
I’ve had Dynaudio and PMC’s in a stereo setup and Bose with surround sound, but there little gems are brilliant and take a bit of the best from all the previously mentioned, well worth the money.
Big clear sounds from these gorgeous little boxes.
Nothing has come close to these two little speakers to complete my tv system.

Very neutral tone, base is present but not excessive, I feel these truly reflect the music being fed into them.
They sound as good as speakers costing hundreds of pounds more. And the build quality is equally good.
The sound is crisp, once the speakers were 'run in' and the bass not too strong to overpower the mids.
Those speakers are incredible. Honestly never heard music so alive in my life.
They sound beautiful with my classic Quad pre and power amplifier and a yamaha cdn301.

The increase in cabinet volume has made a huge difference compared to the original 3020's and these are now real room fillers, even from my desk.
These are awesome bookshelf speakers for its price (I got them on sale too from local store, I am from Australia). The quality of finish for the speaker cabinet is top notch.
I'm not a big expert on sound but I know what I like. That's a nice solid bass that doesn't drown out the trebles. Good clarity, low resonance.
At first I was disappointed. For a small speaker I was put off by the depth of the cabinet, and then the generally over blown bass.
The cabinet is longer (deeper) than I expected -- but that is a minimal point.
