What customers say about "Key Specs"
TP-LINK TL-WA850RE N300 Universal Range Extender
  • My room is in the attic, the router is downstairs, and it has boosted my PS4 speed from 8gb to 30gb!!! It even has a very handy app!
  • I performed a few internet speed tests with SpeedCheck Pro and wow... my internet speed had increased from about 3-5Mbps to 20-30Mbps.
  • I can wholeheartedly recommend this device and although nowhere do they advertise that it increases internet speed, in my case it certainly has.
  • Vastly better than devices using our house's (modern) wiring, both in terms of ease of setup and signal strength/ speed.
  • Using an online speed test I measured an increase from 26mbps to 97mbps so has proven to be very effective.
TP-LINK TL-WA860RE N300 Universal Range Extender
  • Speed obviously, may be a deal breaker for some - YouTube streaming seems just fine.
  • Range is great, speeds are too. Throughput exceeded my expectation. Recommended!
  • Vastly improved the Wi-Fi coverage upstairs where the Virgin router was struggling to reach from downstairs behind a double brick wall.
  • I have great WiFi signal now with this. Easy to link with wps. Works perfectly.
  • Great little signal booster and basically plug and play set up.

What customers say about "Features"
TP-LINK TL-WA850RE N300 Universal Range Extender
  • Excellent product. Easy to configure with the "Tether" app. Just follow the instructions on app as you go.
  • I had to use the app on my phone to synce it which wasn't a problem.
  • If you don't have a cable, an App on your phone should allow you to perform a step by step setup.
  • Blue lights do shine very brightly at night which is a bit annoying.
  • Interestingly the TP-Link app sometimes says the signal is weak between the router and extender, and at others says it's perfect, even though neither has moved or is obstructed.
TP-LINK TL-WA860RE N300 Universal Range Extender
  • Easy to set up, just find device - connect to router via router password and ID then you're all done.
  • Quick and easy to setup, used my iPhone to connect to it and went through the app to set it up.
  • Easy to install via WPS button. Great signal strength.
  • Excellent, served its purpose. Very easy to install, one click connect slightly longer to setup without.
  • Connection drop and speed was terrible.
