What customers say about "Features"
Pioneer VSX-831 5.2 Network AV Receiver with Bluetooth - Black
  • The 4k upscaling actually makes a difference with resolutions less than 4k. I was surprised to see a difference.
  • It comes with MCACC room correction system and includes the calibration microphone.
  • The bonus is there is an app called icontrol and when your lazy you can configure volume and speaker personal volume with a touch of a button.
  • Love the acoustics auto tuning. Amazing 4K 60P switching for relatively little money.
  • A lot of audio features like Dolby Atmos is not added available to this device.
Pioneer VSX-930 7.2 Channel Network AV Receiver
  • All the sound comes out through an inexpensive 5.1 surround sound Pioneer system and its all really good. I'd recommend it to anyone.
  • Very nice amp, sound quality is awesome, more features than I'll prob ever use!
  • The iControlAV5 app is very nice to use rather than the supplied controller. The vTuner works well and easy to operate via the app.
  • I replaced the old receiver with this model, for a long time I was waiting for a relatively inexpensive receiver with dolby atmos support. The sound got better in all scenarios.
  • MCACC PRO is extremely simple in use. The system only works for a few minutes, and the result is impressive. If desired, you can compare the initial and final graphs and charts.

What customers say about "Connectivity"
Pioneer VSX-831 5.2 Network AV Receiver with Bluetooth - Black
  • Most impressive is the provision of six HDMI inputs, three of which offer 4K (60P) and HDCP 2.2 support.
  • Microphone sound set up is pretty easy. This also has a phono input - another nice feature.
  • A whole mountain of connectors, including 6 HDMI, 2 subwoofer outputs. Powerful and rich, detailed sound.
  • One of the minor negatives is apart from the headphone socket there is no other audio out.
  • Unhappily there are one optical input, often I need a couple of this.
Pioneer VSX-930 7.2 Channel Network AV Receiver
  • Awesome, puts out a lot of power and switches my inputs like dream. Easy to use and 4k looks great.
  • A handful of analogue inputs join dual-subwoofer and single optical and coaxial outputs. One of the two HDMI outputs also gets the full 4K-supporting.
  • I was very pleased with the ability to work with several sources and TVs - hdzone.
  • Built-in Bluetooth with aptX support giving high-quality music playback from smartphones and tablets.
  • I've easily connected TV, Xbox, PS4 through HDMI, an old Ipod through the USB, a new iphone through airplay and even an old CD player through an aux connection.
