NETGEAR (R8000-100UKS) Smart Wi-Fi Router

I now get full internet bandwidth, or close to, on mobile devices, and the stability is absolutely rock solid.
With the new R8000 and the PS4 connected via 5Ghz I am getting a consistent download speed of 67Mbps.
Streaming is a dream! I can happily game in one room, whilst HD films are being streamed in multiple others with no buffering.
I would happily recommend this to anyone wanting a high end router with great performance.
The speed this thing connects is amazing. I am really happy!

Signal improved all over the house and it now covers every room!
Great coverage, easy configuration and very stable!
The router works very well, with a very good range.
Wifi - Range is poor! I get full signal to the neighbours free BT homehub... and weak signal to this! Shocking!!
Wifi range isn't much better than Virgin super hub 2.

The antennas are easy to open up and it's straight forward plugging it in.
This is a superb router. Multiple fast wireless channels and six antennae to reach all corners of a very large house.
The unit itself is sleek and looks quite modern with easy to see indicator lights, it also comes with 6 fold out antennas to help maximise range. Good design and decent range!
The range is surprisingly much lower than I expected.
Unbelievably the BT hub provided a stronger signal than the nighthawk even though it’s got 6 antennas sticking out of it.

Having devices running through the WAN or the tunnel of the VPN connection, wit ha kill switch, is very easy. As is port forwarding.
I use the merlin firmware build which is very stable and secure.
Very easy to set up and there is a lot of other settings within the hub that you can set up, such as add a VPN client, security controls and parental controls.
The VPN feature works a treat and i can usually max out remote connections into it.
Really impressed with this router. Purchased it so that I could set up a VPN. Followed the instructions given on my VPN's website and it worked well.

NETGEAR (R8000-100UKS) Smart Wi-Fi Router

The VPN service is pretty wonderful, not too tricky to set up and gives a bit of piece of mind when using public hotspots out and about.
The VPN function is really useful and it is quite pricey but so far, so good.
Amazing router with with useful features, the VPN works great, and I would recommend this router highly.
A bunch of security features such as VPN support, being able to separate secure and guest network access, SPI & NAT firewall protection and preventing Denial-of-Service (DOS) attacks. Decent router!
Minus for me is the VPN capabillities. It only support up to 4-5 connections and the auto config file export does not work for me.
