- Because of the light weight and firm but yet so soft cushion of these headphones it does make it hard to wear any other over the ear headphones.
- Well, I went ahead and got these and the first thing I noticed was how light they are on my head.
- It's comfortable even during long sessions since the velour ear pads are soft, the headband is padded, & it's fairly light at about 719 grams/~25 ounces.

- Really nice, comfy headphones, been using for a few months with no problems. Can wear all day without giving a headache or hurting your ears, very good sound quality.
- Sound quality is by far the best I have experienced, everything is crystal clear. I am picking out details I've never heard in music before!
- They look very sleek in their matte grey finish and are well constructed, as you'd expect from Sennheiser.
- I was made aware these are not made for bass but I did expect a little bit. I got nothing. The best way to explain it, the music felt flat, underwhelming.
- The only downside is everyone hears what you hear and there is no noise cancellation.

- Very comfortable, with a sound quality that is second to none.
- There is a depth and space to the sound that the AKG's never had, whilst also having a remarkable amount of detail.
- Very little difference between the HD 598 and HD 599 except that the HD 599 has slightly more bass
- The sound stage is larger and the clarity is better . I've noticed subtle things in tracks that I'd never noticed before thanks to the great frequency response.
- The cups themselves are also replaceable making these a good long term purchase.
