They're quite light and comfortable to wear during prolonged sessions. The materials used feel a little on the cheap side.

Very good headphones, great overall sound, perfect mastering, lightweight but durable, worth every penny.
They're pretty light and comfortable. I could see someone getting sore with the headband, but it really doesn't bother me.
They are pretty light headphones, but feel solid. They use quality plastic and pads. The detachable cable is great.
They don't clamp too tight, are light, and the ear pads are very nice. If it wasn't for the pinching, they'd be amazingly comfortable.
For their size they are pretty light and very comfortable, one of the more important things with full size headphones.

It's a great added extra that you can remove the cable from the headphones.
This frequency response makes it accurate enough to use for mixing as well as listening for pleasure. It honestly works well for both.
They have excellent reproduction across all frequencies, from what I can tell, especially in the bass range.
They have a great frequency range so they will pick up just about anything you could possibly throw at them.
The only thing stopping these from getting a perfect mark, is the cable. It's bloody long.

KRK KNS 8400 Studio Reference Headphones

The sound quality is far beyond what should be expected at this price level. Crystal clear, spacious, with excellent frequency response throughout the spectrum, and all the power you could want.
The sound that these cans have is great. It's relatively flat, though not the flattest frequency response ever.
I'm super happy with the included in-line level control, but almost mainly because it's not part of the primary cable.
The sound is superb and doesn't have exaggerated bass or top end as some hi-fi headphones do.
The cable is way too long, over 2 meters! It isn't practical therefore. The cable is quite noisy meaning if you are walking and the cable is banging against your leg.
