What customers say about "Features"
Synology DS620slim 6-bay NAS
  • It's one of the lower cost NAS units out there and comes packed with features.
  • I like the fact the drives go to sleep when not in use.
  • I use this product to host all my movies, music, photos, documents, etc for my household. Great features.
  • Works great as a cloud based file server. Replaces a service like dropbox with your own server.
  • We use the Synology chat app company wide. It's a legitimate replacement for Slack.
Synology DS1019+ 5-Bay Desktop NAS Enclosure
  • My RAID resync speed was setup for Max 2000 / Min 300. No drama. Everything worked as it should.
  • You need a good CPU to run Plex on a NAS and this model has just enough power. Fast!
  • Very good for backup office 365 email and files with batch process and hit almost max of CPU resources.
  • My only complaint is the CPU is quite weak. I tried running a Windows 10 VM and it was painfully slow.
  • The CPU is laughable. Do not buy this product for video file storage.

What customers say about "Interfaces"

  • Installed the hard drive, connected to LAN and powered up 7 minutes. Good connect.
  • Easy install, great product. Connectivity is good.
  • This thing is easy to setup, and is extremely powerful. Good to connect via LAN and USB.
  • It has no USB3, if that matters. Not really enough horsepower for real time media transcoding.
  • One USB port for a UPS and one for a backup drive and that is it. A shame.
Synology DS1019+ 5-Bay Desktop NAS Enclosure
  • Connected to the LAN and power, turned it on and brought up Synology Assistant on my PC. Easy to connect!
  • The disk management software is extremely easy to learn yet powerful. Good LAN speed!
  • I/O performance is great and can be even better with the expansion card.
  • I now have my NAS managing my USB back on its own.
  • Easy to set up and connect, works great. Would recommend this product.
