I really like the software side of this NAS.
Easy to install and you have multiple options to secure it. Highly recommended.
I've had this a couple months. Was easy to setup.
Perfectly suited for lower tiered backups with the solid features of QNAP.
The configuration is clunky, and suggests less reliable options than you should choose if you care about your data.

A lot of good features and built-in apps.
The management interface is browser based, which makes it nicely compatible across multiple platforms.
This has been amazing. I love the GUI, it's doing everything I want it.
This is an outstanding NAS drive for the home user. The software it comes with has done an excellent job of organizing my videos and pictures for easy access.
There are issues with https when backing up to Backblaze or Dropbox. Cloud backups often fail midway through.

Lots of nice features and good documentation. Also has great ports.

I was most upset by the lack of HDMI ports.

Easy product to setup. It works awesome. Great number of USB ports.
Awesome product! Software is nice, server is fast and super quiet. Also great connectivity options.
Support is slow and not terribly helpful. Connectivity is spotty.
There are random disconnections. The "myqnapcloud" web connectivity service has suddenly stopped working.
