About the Product
To ensure the Rival 100 met the rigorous standards of eSports players, we asked the pros themselves. SteelSeries worked hand-in-hand with our sponsored teams, gathering feedback and data that helped us refine the Rival 100 for eSports.
We stripped our G400s gaming mouse to its core and made it better, stronger and faster. Hyperion Fury’s Fusion Engine offers tracking speeds so fast that your opponents won’t know what hit them.

What customers say about "Key Specs"
SteelSeries Rival 100 Optical Gaming Mouse
  • Smooth mouse, great price. software available online that lets you edit the dpi settings.
  • The mouse is very nice looking and simple, RGB lighting, good quality and seems long lasting. The side buttons are also easy to press which is very good. This mouse is worth it.
  • The laser is very good, the mouse itself is comfortable and has just the right amount of weight.
  • The sensor is very accurate and has no artificial prediction which is great for playing fps games and the mouse shows no visible input lag. Overall this is a great mouse for the price.
  • This product is great. The mouse feels amazing to use and is very ergonomic. It is well designed as well as being well made.
  • Nice feel to the mouse but the side buttons feel cheap and this lets the product down.
Logitech G402 Gaming Mouse Hyperion Fury
  • For the price, this mouse is an excellent performer. This mouse is pretty accurate, tracks well and has enough buttons that can improve your in-game performance.
  • Fantastic mouse for people just getting into computer gaming. It's relatively cheap and does the job well.
  • This is the most imaginative mouse that I ever bought. The charing system is quite convenient and easy to use. You don't need to worry about the battery issue.
  • I'm not a big fan of traditional mice, I really like my rollerball versions, but this one is great. Once I had it setup and got used to using it, I was very happy with the performance
  • Only problem is that the documentation within the package is less. I had to go online to search the controls.

What customers say about "Size & Weight"
SteelSeries Rival 100 Optical Gaming Mouse
  • The mouse if small, light with a sleek finish. Ergonomically it is perfect for those right handed people who prefer to control the mouse with little contact.
  • Physically, it's a lovely size, comfortable to use and the shape feels very natural to hold.
  • Smooth and comfortable for me a right hander who uses claw grip. It is nicely weighted so light enough for long sessions though not so light as to feel cheap.
  • It has a nice feel to it and isn't too big or too small. It fits in my hand very nicely and grip is very good.
  • This mouse is incredibly small. Perhaps if you use the "claw grip" for gaming this mouse would be suitable for you.
Logitech G402 Gaming Mouse Hyperion Fury
  • This mouse is very light. For me, right now, I'm okay with the lighter mouse and for the price difference, I don't think I will move up.
  • The mouse feels really good in the hand and compliments any G series KB is you have one.
  • It fits well in my hand, even though I thought it might be a bit to big for my hands at first.
  • I have small hands so the mouse is a little large but still works great.
  • My only con about it is that it is kind of light. I prefer my mouses a little heftier.

What customers say about "Connection"
SteelSeries Rival 100 Optical Gaming Mouse
  • The software is simple and easy to understand. It's easy to change each of the buttons or even the colour of the leds.
  • The mouse is terminated by a silver-plated USB which is connected to the mouse itself by a non-braided cable.
  • Unfortunately, this mouse does not have a braided cable, instead just a normal wire to connect it to your device.
  • Unfortunately, any movement of the usb that's plugged into either my laptop or PC the mouse will disconnect totally and repeatedly make the disconnecting and reconnecting noise.
  • It would have been nice to see a gold-plated USB and braided cable included here.
Logitech G402 Gaming Mouse Hyperion Fury
  • The cord is a bit long & is a nuisance but I was able to get used to it. I use the Logitech software that lets you customize the fps more & some of its lights.
  • This is a corded mouse so you don't have to worry about charging batteries or any lag.
  • It has good sensitivity and can be tuned using the logitech software.
  • Only bad thing about this mouse is the cable, feels cheap, which is a rubberized wire instead of braided.

What customers say about "Features"
SteelSeries Rival 100 Optical Gaming Mouse
  • Alongside that the sensors are incredible, the LED lighting is a nice touch, the software you can install is very nice to pair with the mouse and alter it's properties.
  • The mouse is plug and play so no set up required, the light is full RGB so any colour available and you can also change from pulse to off if you don't need or like it to light up.
  • This mouse is well made and has good rgb lighting that can be turned off and altered through the Steelseries Engine program
  • I use this mouse all the time and a lot of that is for gaming. The steelseries software allows you to change the DPI of the mouse giving the best response for you.
  • Quite a basic mouse, but that's what I wanted. Comfortable to hold, responsive, and it fits in with my SteelSeries headset and keyboard.
  • My only problem would be the DPI settings. The last two settings are from 2000 DPI to 4000 with no option in between.
Logitech G402 Gaming Mouse Hyperion Fury
  • It automatically remembers the settings for each game after you set them to what you want it to be. It works great.
  • This mouse is great for anyone thinking of doing pc gaming. The options and dps settings that come with the software for the mouse provide a wide variety of options for anyone doing playing any kind of game.
  • I like being about to customize the buttons. The mouse gets the job done without being overly expensive due to needless features.
  • The scrolling up and down feels decent but wheel itself is too thin and tall. Its easy to press but for me the scrolling is on the uncomfortable side.
