What customers say about "Key Specs"
AKG K612 PRO Open-Back Over-Ear Premium Reference Studio Headphones
  • Spacious sound stage, neutral rather than accentuated bass, beautiful mid range, detail forensically rendered.
  • Bass, mid, and treble all represented with such clarity and realism.
  • These headphones have relatively high impedance and low sensitivity. They are very fussy about the amplifier.
  • The sound is such good like I was partially deaf before but now I can hear everything.
  • If you are looking for a warm or smooth sound these are not what you need.
AKG K701 Open-Back, Over-Ear Premium Reference Class Studio Headphones
  • The clarity of these headphones is second to none. Crystal clear highs and smooth but not overbearing lows make these a pleasure to listen to.
  • They are incredibly detailed. You will hear every single flaw on every recording. You will hear every inch of the noise floor.
  • The bass response from these headphones is simply STUNNING. Refined and not over-bearing nor muddy. I didn't expect such excellent bass coming from headphones at all! You can hear every nuance of sounds and music from these.
  • They sound great, and you can still hear the room.
  • I really love the separation between the highs, mids, and bass.
  • If you are looking for a warm or smooth sound these are not what you need, nor are they ideal for rock and pop recordings, but good for classical music.

What customers say about "Features"
AKG K612 PRO Open-Back Over-Ear Premium Reference Studio Headphones
  • The first time I used these I thought they were nice headphones, pretty comfy design.
  • They cover my ears really well and the cable doesn't get in the way and is soft and not heavy.
  • As they are not sealed, I find they give a less confined sound and feel far more natural/comfortable.
  • These are open-back phones, so I was prepared for sound leakage - but it is more than I was expecting.
  • Open back headphones do leak sound into their surroundings and don't completely isolate the wearer.
AKG K701 Open-Back, Over-Ear Premium Reference Class Studio Headphones
  • It is really a joy to listen to my music through these phones. These are also the most natural sounding phones.
  • They are an open design, but they are so clear that you don't need very high levels, and bleed is minimal.
  • Bottom is not overdone and really tight. Top end feels super accurate without feeling flat.
  • These headphones sound good, are lovely to wear, and are designed nicely.
  • I dont like how the cable is non replaceable and cheap unlike other headphones in this price range.
