  • This thing is a awesome. I highly recommend this product if you are needing a really fast loading external storage for your consoles.
  • I switched over to this Crucial 500gb SSD. Now everything works really fast and 500gb of space is pretty high.
  • This SSD takes about 20 seconds for boot. I was amazed. Microsoft Word took 40 seconds to open with the HDD. It opens in 6 seconds with the SSD.
  • Windows 10 starts immediately, login in a breeze and start to use applications without delay.
  • 500Gb will be plenty of space since I plan to link the large files for programs like Unity to my 3TB drive.

Crucial MX500 3D NAND SATA 2.5-inch Internal SSD
  • Laptop now runs perfectly and is so much more responsive than before. Its like I bought a brand new laptop.
  • It took about 4 hours to clone the SSD then I took out the HDD and replaced it with the SSD in my laptop. That was relatively easy too.
  • The disk form factor is exactly the same as the former 7mm Hard Disk and reinstalling is easy.
  • The software is astrious. Not a friendly user interface at all and it does not work properly.
  • After cloning I struggled to get system to recognize disk to boot.
