What customers say about "Key Specs"
Fisher 1280X Aquanaut
  • Love this underwater detector!! If you want to use a metal detector you should have one that is waterproof.
  • The coil is the perfect size for my purpose. Perfectly looking for coins and rings, etc.
  • I like that you can adjust the length yourself. This is a very convenient feature.
  • This detector is waterproof, so you can do some under water searching. You can't do a lot of super fine tuning as you could with pricier models.
  • The coil size is very large so it will be difficult to get into bottlenecks, which is very upset.

What customers say about "Detection"
Fisher 1280X Aquanaut
  • There’s different settings to adjust sensitivity and what metals you’d like to exclude, such as iron, while detecting.
  • The sensitivity dial makes fine tuning simple as well. Couldn’t be happier.
  • The sensitivity settings are helpful, and the instructions are helpful in figuring out depth and type of "hit" it is indicating.
  • The coil works fine but is a tad ambiguous as to precisely where your coin, ring.
  • It's very sensitive, but doesn't seem to discriminate that well. Set it to discriminate out ferrous metals, but it still picks them up, just in a different tone.
