Really nice lens. Gives you just right amount of focal length for walking around.
This lens very versatile, the 18-140 range covers virtually everything I need, so this is usually the lens on my camera.
Lens sharpness is good esp central region across the focal range even at 140mm f5.6 (it's surprisingly sharp here).
I am very impressed with this lens. It does everything I want, going from wide angle to telephoto and good aperture, leading to good exposure.
Sharpness, zoom range, max aperture, build quality, size and weight, price, and projected image size are amazing.

Sharp,light and nice range but still a compact size. I love it! Reommended!
It's quite a hefty beast and fitted on the D7100 it's not a light weight package but I've walked up lots of mountains in the month I've had it and not had a problem.
It is still half the weight of a full frame camera with the equivalent lens. It has been a total game changer for me.
From the short time that I have had to use this lens I am glad that I have chosen this size over the shorter standard zoom.
The balance is very good on this combination and not too heavy to carry around all day.

It's able to maintain good image quality and sharpness across the range which is something neither of the other lenses can really manage.
The optical results are very good with the image stabilisation most welcome, especially at the long end of the zoom.
The focus is very smooth and easy to use it just feels like quality I love this lens.
I was surprised at the great quality of this lens considering the fantastic price. Good bokeh, sharp focus and fast. I highly recommend this.
Work well, solid build, no issues so far. Nice pictures even at high zoom, good focus, all is well.

This lens is sharp throughout its range and the VR helps a lot in low light conditions.
The VR is actually a lot more useful than I thought it would be. It definitely sharpens things up when running and gunning handheld in the city.
The VR is a huge help for lower light conditions, and the focus is spot on. Great lens overall.
The notable features are an actual AF/MF switch, the ability to accept filters, and VR.
VR mode is simply on/off no setting for "active" for panning etc, not a huge problem but worth a mention.
