What customers say about "Key Specs"
Nintendo 2DS Handheld Console
  • This thing has a lot of capability such as touch screen, wi fi, etc.
  • Nice travel case and the game cards are small.
  • This device did not come with downloadable or previously downloaded Mario Kart as advertised
  • For a console marketed just for kids it seems they could have done much more with the main screen as its so small and most deffinatley a tn screen [poor veiwing angles and color]
  • Great value, but the screen is too small.
Nintendo 3DS Handheld Console
  • The 3D effect is pretty magical when you first see it - particularly on games where it is well used.
  • The top screen resolution is more than adequate for the size of the device - bright, colourful and clear.
  • Personally I find the display and resolution of the games a little limited but my son loves this.
  • The device adds some very awesome new features such as upgraded graphics, gyroscope, the circle pad, higher resolution screens, and much more.
  • The little card inside for the memory and games.

What customers say about "Size & Weight"
Nintendo 2DS Handheld Console
  • It feels great in adult hands but was clearly meant for children.
  • The design fits nicely in hands but the buttons do have a weird feel but isn't that noticeable.
  • It is not as compact as the earlier DS, but that may not be a concern and the trade-off is a double and larger screen.
  • Poor quality, dropped on the carpet from waist height and the screen cracked internally.
  • The plastic does feel a little cheap, but it IS the cheaper version of the 3ds

What customers say about "Screen"

Nintendo 3DS Handheld Console
  • Very good quality for the money, and the screen size is just fine.
  • Screen colour is excellent. Very, very happy! Arrived quickly.
  • The screen shows the graphics up perfectly regardless of whether the 3D is on or not.
  • The touch screen was very badly calibrated- past the point of the in-software recalibration.
  • I do not like the small screen and it is for children rather than adults although there are some adult games.

What customers say about "Multimedia"
Nintendo 2DS Handheld Console
  • Inexpensive and plays a lot of fantastic games without the 3D gimmick.
  • Perfect, have lots of fun. The Mario Kart game is a download code.
  • My son loves the camera and will sneak up on you to take funny photos of us and laugh hysterically to himself.
  • Didn’t come with SD card.
  • Had no issues yet after almost 5 months, except for at times when the SD card wouldn't read (after a few hours it wasn't a problem).
Nintendo 3DS Handheld Console
  • You don't just get 3d, you get internet, front and back cameras, interactive 3d activities in the system, connecting with others easier, etc.
  • The apps are great especially the camera and the colour (Aqua)is gorgeous.
  • The built in camera is lots of fun as you can create characters out of photos.
  • The camera isn't clear at all and in this day and age could and SHOULD be much better and clearer so minus a point for that.
  • Camera is very low resolution and works badly in low light.

What customers say about "Power"
Nintendo 2DS Handheld Console
  • The battery lasts for a while and its nice that it doesn't have the hinged and closing capability.
  • The battery lasts long and the system is in perfect condition, even a year later.
  • Wonderful Feel, Good Battery life and very user friendly
  • I hate that it doesn't fold, the battery life sucks, and the stylus doesn't like to stay
Nintendo 3DS Handheld Console
  • The 3DS is sturdy, can handle being dropped, has a good selection of settings and good battery life.
  • The battery from a full night's charge will last me all day so I'm happy about that.
  • The battery seems to last reasonably well and really does depend what you're using the 3ds for, playing multiplayer mario kart online drains the battery much quicker.
  • The battery doesn't last that long compared to previous devices.
  • Battery life is a big disappointment compared to previous consoles. Even with the Wi-Fi turned off and power saving on, you still going to get nothing near the life you got from the previous consoles.
