The Nintendo DS is no ordinary console. What on the face of it appears to be merely an upgraded Game Boy Advance is packed with a suite of never-before-seen features which make it unique within the gaming world. The most obvious new feature is the two screens, the bottom of which is a touch screen.
When the Nintendo DS was first announced it was dismissed by many as a white elephant with a gimmicky interface and underpowered graphics. Over 15 million sales later and the story is a little different. The DS Lite is fully compatible with all existing Nintendo DS (and Game Boy Advance) games.
