Astell&Kern AK 70 MkII High-End Player with Integrated Powerful Amplifier DSD Native Black
  • Great UI and sound from wired headphones, on that side AK70 does it’s job perfectly.
  • Excellent product, great sound through both high quality in-ears and over ear headphones.
  • It has 64 GB of internal memory that is enough for the first time not to buy a memory card. Wow.
  • The screen is easy to view and very effective and enjoyable.
  • User interface as usual with Android based systems the user interface feels somewhat clunky and not entirely stable.

What customers say about "Size & Weight"

Astell&Kern AK 70 MkII High-End Player with Integrated Powerful Amplifier DSD Native Black
  • The AK70MKII is slightly bigger so it feels better in my hand, the dual DACs add better depth and separation to the music and the bigger battery means I can listen for longer.
  • Just the right size (similar to iPod classic but a touch narrower and deeper), excellent build quality.
  • All in all, fantastic player in a small footprint which makes it easy for me to carry around on the tube! Highly Recommended.
  • A player that will be next to each of your trips due to its compact size.
  • I really like its size. It lies comfortably in my hand and also looks beautiful.

What customers say about "Features"

Astell&Kern AK 70 MkII High-End Player with Integrated Powerful Amplifier DSD Native Black
  • I have listened to numerous recordings from MP3 to studio master 24bit files and all are reproduced superbly through my usual Etymotic ear phones.
  • Networked works well. I can access files on the AK70 for playback on my main hi-fi system.
  • Detail is superb and all areas of sound, bass, midrange and treble, are solid and involving. Soundstage is exspnasive and awesome.
  • Shamefully, this one is too sharp in the upper frequencies, and accordingly has been sent back.
  • There is no equaliser that can be customised even though the instructions say there is.

What customers say about "Power"

Astell&Kern AK 70 MkII High-End Player with Integrated Powerful Amplifier DSD Native Black
  • Sounds great, average battery life, competition stiff at this price point.
  • Built quality, battery life, sound output is probably the best on the market for that price range.
  • I have enough charge for the whole day of use. Highly recommend.
  • A great player that lasts all day with you. The sound is amazing.
  • Battery only last 6 to 8 hours. Music gets lost when your attention is elsewhere. So not really designed to attract attention as a portable should.
