What customers say about "Key Specs"
Gigabyte B450M DS3H Motherboard
  • Ryzen 2600 worked out of the box, the memory speed intitially was only 2133mhz, but a quick configuration change in the bios changed that, the bios has an inbuilt setting to let you max out your memory.
  • This motherboard (Gigabyte B450M DS3H (Socket AM4/B450/DDR4/S-ATA 600/Micro ATX)), however, is mostly great to work on.
  • Having never built on a Micro ATX motherboard before, I was a bit concerned regarding space.
  • Working fine on cardboard box but will not boot at all inside computer case, despite being compatible with ATX/MATX cases.
ASUS PRIME X470-PRO Motherboard
  • This was used in my first ever build. It's working like a champ no issues as of this moment (knock on wood) the lighting is nice, but as mentioned in previous comments can be blocked depending on what the GPU size is.
  • Great board looks good in my Ryzen build.
  • Overall, the motherboard performs exactly as expected. The onboard sound card it provides is great.
  • Of course substance is the main thing with tech but style does make a huge difference as well. Paired up inside my white Corsair carbide 275r case this looks amazing.
  • Very good quality and nice led's but took a while for the aura software to work properly. Good for its price and works well with the new 2000 series ryzen cpus.

What customers say about "Memory"
Gigabyte B450M DS3H Motherboard
  • Everything worked well just little reminder that memory is not automatically over clocked to run max rated speed.
  • Very pleased with this product has 4 Ram slots 2 large PCIe ports so can install a graphics card when I upgrade it
  • Four RAM slots are a welcome addition as many Micro ATX motherboards only have two. Only one case fan header, however, and the standard one for the CPU cooler.
  • The bios is OK, it has nice features but it's a maze. You can adjust the memory frequency in multiple locations, same with the CPU frequency so it makes it confusing what settings you need to change and where to change them.
  • Max memory i got with the cpu overclocked to 3.9 was 2666mhz. I will upgrade motherboard eventually so i would spend £30 more dont skimp out
ASUS PRIME X470-PRO Motherboard
  • It does what it says, I overclocked to 3.9Ghz without issue with a Ryzen 2600 and also overclocked my ram to 2933Mhz from 2666Mhz (Vengeance RGB)
  • I use this with a Ryzen 5 3600 CPU and works perfectly. Have ram running at 3200mhz with no issues.
  • The one I received had a fault on 2 of its memory slots which caused the memory to run slowly so had to be returned but its replacement is working correctly.
  • It is a good motherboard and look good, but, i returned to get the strix. The prime couldnt get my ram above 2666 the strix got it to 2933 on my 3000 kit.
  • The only down side I would have with this board is that you have no post code for trouble shooting which would have help when I had faulty RAM and was trouble shooting the issue for no post.

What customers say about "Connectivity"
Gigabyte B450M DS3H Motherboard
  • It has a single PCIe port which I have put a Wi-fi card in, the sound this board outputs is good also, happy with purchase.
  • Has plenty more space and ports so more can be added at any time. A great foundation for further upgrades.
  • Overall a cheap no frills motherboard ideal if your on a tight budget and still want 4 dimms and plenty of usb 3.0 ports
  • Only problem I had was there wasn't enough ports for all my fans. Not a massive issue as just got a y splitter for a couple of £. Very impressed.
  • My only complaint was one of the SATA ports came faulty out the box. I know things like this may happen and I used a different port but that's my only complaint.
ASUS PRIME X470-PRO Motherboard
  • The PCIE slot for the GPU is plastic so it isn’t as strong, so I recommend removing the GPU if you’re going to transport it.
  • Everything is connected and works as it should. I am confident in my purchase.
  • I found it heavy and a little cumbersome. But saying that it took the weight really easily,i put more on it than they said with no problem.
  • My only complaint is the M2 heatsink seems a bit unnecessary.

What customers say about "Features"
Gigabyte B450M DS3H Motherboard
  • It does have the feature of setting your own P-States for Overclocking but it's bad in other areas if I had known before I wouldn't have purchased it.
  • It has a feature where you can save your BIOS settings. Now if you set your PC up with custom settings, make sure you save them to a memory stick or note them down!
  • The board does the job, but lacks some extra features which are locked out in the accompanying application and that is the ability for the board to automatically overclock the cpu.
  • Very nicely packaged, very good quality with very high end features and components.
  • Certainly seems a user friendly quality board with handy features and room for expansion, i like that it has 2 M2 slots.
ASUS PRIME X470-PRO Motherboard
  • The RGB lighting on the motherboard looks amazing but the bottom right lighting can be blocked depending on the size of your GPU.
  • The lights look great and really do create a nice ambience on my desk and there are so many customisation options with the included software too.
  • The software included to control the fans and the lighting is fantastic and is very simple to use.
  • It has nice features in the bios and easy to configure. A nice feature is to be able to upgrade the BIOS directly from the internet even before you boot into an O/S.
  • Another thing I disliked about the motherboard was the areas I needed to peel off the plastic so that it wouldn’t melt.
