The set up was pretty straightforward. Great product, with adjustable settings and detachable micro.
Excellent price/quality relation, very comfortable adjustable headband and with a good sound quality.
Turtle beach x42 is a great headset that i purchased. Good thing that microphone is detachable.
They do good passive noise cancelling so, I can play at night and do not disturb my wife.
Essential clutter free noise-cancelling headsets. Highly recommend.

Games sound great, you can hear everything, sound effects are clear and loud and yet you can still carry on conversation with others in your game.
Works well with game sound and chat. When music is plugged in, sound is very lacking, but it's okay for me.
Hard to beat turtle beach headphones, i have had no problems at all and sound quality is great!
The sound quality is very clear and sharp!
They sound okay but the sound quality is poor and there is absolutely no bass.

It is very good for sound and for hearing people it is okay depending on there quality of headset and it also seems to be comfy.
They are extremely comfortable, the sound quality is outstanding, I have not experienced any loss of sound or interference, and the battery life is good.
They're very comfortable without them ovens for my ears.
Excellent headset, excellent sound, the mesh ear cups let your ears breathe and you don't feel like your underwater like with the leather ear cups.
The game sound dropped out constantly, even though I was only a few feet from the transmitter.

The sound is very clear. The mic sensitivity is great.
Audio is excellent. The mic is very responsive.
Pretty good, sound is good, very comfortable, microphone is ok.
A downside is that the mic is sensitive and will pick up household sounds.
The sound is good and the headphones are comfortable, but the Mic is too sensitive. It picks up every little sound in the background.

Not fully wireless like other mics but less chance of being tangled compared to wired mics as they have more wires.
The mic pickup is good,cant fault this at all and voices coming from my friends when on xbox live + gaming is good.
Headphones has a good microphone. For all times it perfectly pickups my voice.
Mic seems to be much sensitive picking up background noises in the room.
The microphone get echo on the headphones all the time.

The chat audio is very good, with the boost function being retained from the X41 (if the game gets loud, it makes your friends equally loud to compensate).
The X42 gives you a 3-D surround, and the sound fidelity is amazing, even my older games sound brand new!
Excellent sound quality, surround sound and all, no wires to fuss about.
Headset is it still has to be connected to a controller through a wire if you are going to speak.
It will take some adjusting in the sound and chat volume for you to be able to hear the game and your friends.
