The images are bright, sharp with well-saturated colors no matter where the zoom lens is set.
While the brightness is a bit softer with a maximum zoom setting, it actually makes for a better viewing experience at night.
The W1500's 2,200 ANSI lumens provide plenty of brightness during the daytime.
The light is super bright and images are fabulous - 1080p is crystal clear.
Works great on my 120" screen in my media room. Bright, great colors, easy to calibrate, couldn't ask for more, especially at that price!

Picture quality is great - followed the advice of others on here and turned on SmartEco mode for the lamp which seems to further improve contrast.
Very good projector. 1080p video, I have a screen of 3.5x2 meters more or less in HD.
Very bright. It is my first projector, and from all the reviews I have found online, this projector was the best, and it is!
Very nice projector - light, great image and strong light output.
Crystal clear, I have noticed no rainbow effect at all.

The image was beautiful. I thought the frame interpolation was excellent. It made sports more fluid and smoothed out regular movies in the lower setting.
It's one of the very few home-cinema projectors that has such a short throw. It generates a huge image in a little space.
The picture quality is breathtaking. It's absolutely, breathtaking, especially after a few minor adjustments.
With the W1500, its color performance is perfect to my eyes. It's stunningly real life.
The picture is incredible! It arrived in time for the Super Bowl and WOW what a game!

The item itself gave a really sharp image which was really good and blew me away.
Colours are rich, image is very detailed and even projected directly onto a wall looks good. On a screen, it's a fantastic experience.
We have it projecting onto a 120" screen, easily viewable in a lit room, in a dim room it's very watchable and in a darkened room it's addictive.
Great quality. The best projector for the money. Picture is absolutely outstanding.

BenQ W1500 DLP 3D Projector

The BenQ's 6-segment, 6x color wheel speed and REC. 709 color gamut delivers a lot of "wow" moments for its picture quality.
To my surprise, the BenQ W1500 creates the same 3D visual effect as I had experienced at the IMAX Theater. I really did not expect that.
The W1500's frame interpolation provides a smooth, stable 3D picture experience.
I have been using this for a few days. It's very quiet, and the picture is phenomenal.
Talk about a light cannon! This unit is amazing. I'm finally replacing the first lamp, but it's lasted a year!

The 3D performance. DLP lives up to its promise with zero artifacts or crosstalk and a beautiful image that is full of depth and stunning positive and negative parallax effects.
I projected on a white wall initially and then I bought a screen, it was great on both. The 3d is for me better than the cinema.
The 3d is like the cinema, together with my 100 inch projector screen i got a great set now!
Have used everyday. Perfect for movies and gaming.
With 3D, it is using 2 images on the screen in slightly different places and when they are viewed through 3D glasses the screen just disappears - it is beautiful!

BenQ W1500 DLP 3D Projector

For me the main reason for selecting this model was the wireless transmission of the Video/audio signal from receiver/player via a HDMI plug in Dongle.
One of its big selling points is that it's wireless, which would save you the headache of running either video or audio around the room.
The rear of the W1500 has two HDMI inputs, one mini USB, PC inputs composite video RCA inputs, S-video in, RCA audio in stereo, audio in mini jack, audio out mini jack, 12v trigger and removable power cord.
The wireless works well within my small room, but I did not experiment in a larger space.
More than enough hook-ups for Apple TV, hooking up my laptop (both thru HDMI) and even our Super Nintendo (s-video).

Giant fifa with the lads or just any ps4 game and I've used my chromecast with it for BT sport to watch footy!
Two HDMI hookups. Also has VGA, audio in/out etc.
Works very well with Mac (with mandatory overpriced adapter of course) and PC.
It has both HDMI and 15HD VGA inputs plus a whole lot more.
I use it in my man cave for movies and for xbox 360/xbox one/ps3.
