Disney McQueen

Car With a Character

If your kid has watched Disney Pixar Cars, we can bet that after watching this animation movie, he/she pays attention to toy replicas of cartoon cars in every toy store window, and Lightning McQueen is definitely one of them. The toy is not a simple mechanical car, it’s a car with a character. How is it possible, you may ask? Well, it’s possible because of two things. First of all, the designers at Disney have done their best so that the toy car looks precisely like a hero in the popular animated movie. Secondly, the car boasts 65 sound effects that can be changed depending on a situation Lightning McQueen gets into. What is more, your kid can use the working lights (by pushing a button on the toy’s roof) to emphasize different emotions of the famous racing car. Thanks to these very features, your little one can make up his/her own stories with Lightning McQueen in the lead role and bring these stories to life. Playing with this Disney toy, your kid will be able to develop imagination and simply be happy that his/her car collection is completed with the main hero of one of the most popular modern cartoons.

Play and Share

Who hasn't dreamt about an own car park during their childhood? Well, even if you didn’t but your little one does, the HotWheels gift pack will come to his/her liking. The pack includes 20 models of sports cars of various designs and colours so even if your kid doesn’t like all the cars, several of them will definitely become his/her favourites. Moreover, the pack includes not only modern models but also vintage toy cars. What we liked about this collection is that it can entertain a group of children and will come in handy when your little one has a lot of friends over, when you organize a B-day party, or just walk with your kids in a park. Playing cars together, children can diversify their leisure by organizing car races and develop communication skills by learning to share things with one another. What we liked about the cars from this set is that they are made of metal and although the manufacturer recommends using them indoors, you can experiment and allow your little one to play with them outdoors thanks to the great durability of the material. Buy your child the HotWheels 20-car Gift Pack and let him/her enjoy the chance to play with a new car every day.

Betheaces Gravity RC

For Passionate Racers

Have you ever seen a toy car that can ride on walls and ceiling? The Gravity RC car from Betheaces can! This small radio controlled car is equipped with a special vacuum feature, in other words, with a powerful suction fan that can hold the car even on vertical surfaces. However, you should keep in mind that the car can ride only on smooth surfaces such as floor, walls, or glass. Besides the ability to ride on vertical surfaces, the Betheaces sports car can impress you with its 360° clockwise and anti-clockwise rotation feature. Moreover, the car is equipped with working front and rear lights that add to the realism of the toy. As it was already mentioned, the car is a remote-controlled model and runs on a rechargeable battery. The manufacturer provides you with an ability to charge the toy by connecting it to the remote controller via the USB cable that comes in the box. However, note that the remote controller works on 6 AA batteries that aren’t included, so buying them in advance would be a sensible decision.

Playtech Logic Lamborghini

Ready to Run Out of the Box

Whether you’re looking for a tiny remote-controlled replica of a famous car for your little passionate driver or even for yourself, the Lamborghini Hurcan from Playtech Logic is worth your attention. The car is programmed to work on one of two frequencies – 27 MHz and 40 MHz – and can be used for races within a 30-metre distance. The tiny Lamborghini toy car can move forward and backwards, turn left and right, and stop at a push of the button on a remote controller. By the way, the controller is quite ergonomic and its shape resembles a steering wheel so that your kid can feel like he or she is driving a real car. Thanks to working head and back lights, this toy is suitable to be used both indoors and outdoors. One more thing we’d like to mention about this car is a striking similarity to a real vehicle that has become possible due to an authentic automotive paint finish, rubber tyres, rims, front suspension, and adjustable front wheel alignment. Finally, don’t overlook that the car is equipped with everything you need (rechargeable batteries for a car, a battery for a controller, and a USB cable) to start using it right out of the box - just charge it and have fun.

SGILE SE220581YE

More Than a Car Toy

This race car from SGILE is more than a simple mechanical toy, it’s a construction kit that can develop your kid’s logical thinking and fine motor skills. The car consists of 31 pieces and comes disassembled so your little one could enjoy riding the car he/she has just put together on his/her own. To make the assembly process easier and, at the same time, more realistic, the manufacturer has included a mini screw gun in the box. Since the car should be challenging but not difficult for your kid to assemble, the manufacturer marks 3+ as a recommended age. It’s also advised to supervise your kid at the stage of assembly since there are small parts which your curious kid might want to taste. Once the car is put together, your little driver can enjoy light and sound effects that make riding the SGILE toy car more fun. The last but not the least feature that matters is safe materials the car is made of. ABS plastic is non-toxic and durable, so you can have a peace of mind while your kid plays with his/her new engaging toy.

What Is a Car Toy?

When children get a bit older, every parent starts to wonder what toys to buy so that they are engaging, fun, developing, and yet safe. One of the best decisions, if you ask us, is a toy car. Your kid will be able to play with toy cars in a house and outside alike. Let the children replay plots from their favourite cartoons and computer games, or just buy a toy car to be used as an accessory for a doll. Today, toy cars can be complete replicas of real cars in exterior and interior, only in miniature. Let your child discover the world through car's mechanics, it will develop logical thinking. And playing with other kids in a park will enhance communicative skills. Plus, it is simply a lot of fun. Or you can choose a toy car that looks like some vehicle from your kid's most liked cartoon. Whatever your choice is, we are sure that your kid will be on cloud nine with joy.

If you are looking for other toys too, we can suggest you go through dollhouses and toy robots. Those will not only entertain your children but also teach them various things.

What Features to Compare

No matter how many options a toy car features, it is pointless if your child does not like it, right? So, first thing in the process of selecting the toy, ask your kids what Design of a car they would like. Maybe your children dream of Pirelli World Challenge, Formula, or Trans-Am Series! Buy them a mini supercar and they will be overjoyed. Or what about a career that brings help to people, like firefighters, doctors, police officers? They all have their cars, too. And, of course, the manufacturers of toy cars did not overlook this. Children can imitate situations they see on TV — extinguish fire, catch criminals, or rush to a medical help in an ambulance toy car. Nowadays you can find all types of cars in miniature, from your regular sedan to a large truck or a bus. And there are even some sets with different types of cars, with which your children will play out an unlimited number of situations. The famous Willy Wonka had a song about it, remember? Sing with us: "There is no life I know to compare with pure imagination...". Wonderful, isn't it? Ah, well. Let's continue. There is also a Material to consider, of course. You will have a selection of plastic, metal, wooden, and rubber toy cars. Or maybe you will encounter something extreme and rare. Plastic is the most popular material today, and the most widespread, of course. This has led to a great selection of shapes, colours, sizes of toy cars. Among the upsides here — a really affordable price and light weight. Downsides? Durability, apparently. Then there are metal toy cars, the most real-looking and durable. Collectible models are made of metal. They are often heavier and more expensive but under otherwise equal conditions they last longer.

Next, look at the Operation Type. Toy cars can be mechanical, inertia, and electric. The former are the least expensive and the simplest as they do not need complex mechanisms and operate by the force your kid applies. Inertia toy cars can be started either by the key or a pull-back action; they can go on their own for some distance. Electric toy cars are the most complex, they have batteries and are often controlled via a remote control. This type can have two- or four-wheel drive, 2WD and 4WD respectively. These are the most functional toy cars, they can reach quite a noticeable speed. No need to mention that they often capture the attention of not only children but adults, too. Some toy cars (of any type) have openable doors/hood/trunk for additional realism, and you can often load smaller vehicles in mini trucks. Create a whole vehicle fleet for your children! Additional sound and light effects will trigger your kid's imagination. If you choose remote control car toys, you should pay attention to their operation range and the rechargeable battery availability. Professional-level toy cars can feature rubber tires for better road grip and a suspension that looks just like a real one. The 4WD toy cars are mostly like this. They will be interesting for adults as well as for kids. Enjoy the adrenaline rush together with your kid racing your neighbourhood rivals!

When it comes to toys' safety for a kid, the need arises to check the Age they are intended for. Children of up to 3 years old are better to be given soft rubber noisemaker toy cars of bright colours. Or those of a one-piece design that can sing songs. They will attract your kid's attention and help enhance various skills. When the child turns 3, it is time to buy car toys designed after famous cartoons. The children will use their imagination. Some simple electric models with remote controls will also do good. Then, once the 7-year barrier is overcome, the children might get into collecting toy cars and creating a fleet. For kids over 10, the best choice will be remotely controlled mini models of real supercars. They are able to speed up and boast a lot of tiny parts, and your child will be able to play with them even outdoors. On the box or in the description, you will probably see the "Scale" field. This is the ratio between the model's size and the real car's size. Together with the size and the weight, it is an important parameter. Toddlers are better left off with lightweight toy cars with no small parts as they can swallow those. And the toy cars with remote controls are affected by the weight when it comes to the manoeuvrability and stability. Buying the proper toy car for your child's age will end up in a load of happiness.
