Cabin Max Bergen is a pretty good travel backpack. The padded sides make it soft and more forgiving towards the owner's personal belongings. Plus, you can carry it just about any way you want, and we like backpacks that do not dictate the terms and give us the option of choosing our preferred way of carrying the bag.

Cabin Max Manhattan

Better Than the Rest

Cabin Max is a company that manufacturers a lot of different but almost always great luggage solutions. Nevertheless, we would say that Cabin Max Manhattan still manages to stand out from the Cabin Max crowd since this is easily one of their best works. We have liked just about every part of this product but you have to start somewhere and the visual aspect is as good of a place as any to do that. Made of a UV-coated twill material with suede effect detailing, this Cabin Max backpack doesn't just look good but features more than enough protective properties to be able to withstand anything that the road might throw its way.

As for compartments, you will find 5 exterior pockets, an ID card holder, and a convenient pocket for back straps. Inside the bag, you will find a 19.5 x 24.5 cm slot for an iPad or any other tablet and a padded 35 x 28 cm compartment for a laptop. Other than the aforementioned back straps, the model also comes equipped with an aluminium telescopic handle, a top carry handle and side carry handles, making it one of the more versatile options from the company. When it comes to the extra features, we would like to highlight a set of wheels that further improves the product's versatility and a side bottle holder that will prove to be invaluable on any hiking trip.

Of course, the massive size of this backpack with wheels does entail certain disadvantages, with its 2.9 kilograms of weight being the most obvious one. But we would say it is a small price to pay for an otherwise excellent product. Other than the weight, what we have here is arguably the most impressive Cabin Max backpack. The sheer number of extra pockets and compartments are enough to make it a pretty suitable choice for all kinds of customers. Add to that the material and a few useful extra features and you have yourself a great travel bag.

Cabin Max Lyon

Why Not Both?

Don't know whether you get yourself a backpack or a suitcase? Well, how about both? No, we're not talking about acquiring two separate products. We're talking about Cabin Max Lyon, a piece of luggage from the titular company that combines the advantages of a suitcase and a bag. From a suitcase, this model has borrowed an aluminium telescopic handle and a couple of wheels. As you'd imagine, a solution like that will allow you to give your back a rest and pull this backpack around like a suitcase. Of course, everything else that the model has to offer is the things that you could find both in your regular backpack and a suitcase. The front exterior pocket features a number of dividers, making it particularly suitable for smaller items like travel documents or an mp3 player as well as for larger items like a camera or a smartphone.

Though its hybrid design is definitely the model's most salient characteristic, we would say that its sturdy and durable structure may just be even more important. The heavy-duty lockable zips will make sure that your personal possessions are being kept safe and secure. The 600D water-resistant anti-tear material will protect those possessions of yours from spills and allow the backpack to easily live through some of your roughest and most daring adventures.

To rephrase the point we made earlier, there are a couple of things that make this Cabin Max backpack such an attractive option. First, there's the hybrid design that will allow you to use this model both as a backpack and a suitcase. Other than that, there's also the rugged structure that makes this model sturdy and durable.

Cabin Max Metz

Hefty as a Suitcase

Cabin Max Metz doesn't feature a telescopic handle or a set of wheels, so it is more or less your regular backpack and not a hybrid like their Manhattan and Lyon models. Having said that, the model in question actually has quite a lot going for it. For starters, there is the backpack's size of 55 x 40 x 20 centimetres in overall dimensions and 44 litres of volume that will allow you to stuff a lot of personal belongings in it. And what's more, despite its impressive size and capacity, the bag actually weighs about 660 grams, making it both one of the most sizable and lightweight models of the company.

Aside from the weight and its dimensions, this Cabin Max backpack features just about everything you would want out of a backpack. The padded back will allow you to carry this thing on your shoulders for hours without experiencing any painful sensations and or some extra fatigue. The shoulder straps are adjustable, so you should be able to make them fit your personal preferences as well as your frame. The side straps are also adjustable but you might want to put a layer of clothing between them and your skin since they can cause a bit of friction if you pack the bag too tight. Finally, the model comes equipped with 3 zipped exterior compartments and 2 zipped internal compartments, so you will have enough wiggle room to separate your belongings.

All things considered, Cabin Max Metz is exactly what we would recommend to those individuals who don't feel like bringing an inconvenient suitcase with them but do not like to pack light anyway. Plus, with a backpack instead of a suitcase, you'll be able to fly without checking in baggage to the hold.

Cabin Max Tromso

Let the Road Lead You

Cabin Max Tromso is being advertised as a flight backpack but we would say that, as far as regular backpacks are concerned, this is actually one of the more versatile and flexible models from Cabin Max. Now, we're not saying that this is a bad travel bag. On the contrary, this product features a considerable amount of interior packing space that includes additional organisational pockets. These pockets are perfectly suitable for things like pens, tickets, documents, and any other smaller personal belongings that will prove to be useful on a trip.

But there are also a couple of features that make this model great for everyday use, hiking, camping, and other outdoor activities. For instance, this Cabin Max backpack includes a couple of padded slots in the rear compartment that will allow you to always take your gadgets with you without worrying about damaging them in the process. Another aspect of this bag that makes it suitable for everyday use is the 840D showerproof PU padded shell. A design like that adds a rugged exterior to the bag, making it less susceptible to the wear and day of everyday life. A zip-out bottle holder will prove to be particularly useful on a hiking trip, while a rear trolley sleeve will allow you to attach this model to larger check-in suitcases.

All in all, if you don't feel like purchasing a separate backpack for travelling and a bag for everyday use, you might want to give this Cabin Max backpack a try. You can travel with it abroad or bring it on a camping trip and the model will prove to be equally suitable for both of these activities.

Cabin Max Bergen

A Slick Bag to Carry

Cabin Max Bergen is a stylish bag, that is certainly the first thing that we would like to say about that. It's not much but the combination of black and silver, the arrangement of the pockets and the overall design make it look just a bit slicker than your typical backpack. With 55 x 35 x 20 centimetres in overall dimensions, the model happens to be perfectly sized for those airlines that have some of the narrower hand luggage guidelines like Flybe, Air France, and Alitalia. That said, this bag does comply with your standard carry-on rules and regulations implemented by the majority of airlines.

In addition to your typical backpack straps, the model comes equipped with a shoulder strap, so you can carry it using the detachable and adjustable padded shoulder strap or put it onto both of your shoulders and carry the bag the same way you would carry any other backpack. Plus, on top of the standard top carry handle, you will find a side carry handle, so you will have even more options in terms of the way you can carry this Cabin Max backpack.

It's not the largest nor the most spacious model of the previously mentioned company but it is actually far roomier than you'd think. Inside it, you will find a completely unimpeded load area, so you'll be able to use it for some of the larger items like laptops and books. And if you're afraid of damaging either of those things, just use the internal packing straps and a netted panel pocket and you should be able to keep them safe. Finally, there's a front-zipped pocket that you can use for things like travel documents and other valuable belongings.

In short, we have found Cabin Max Bergen to be a pretty good travel backpack. The padded sides make it soft and more forgiving towards the owner's personal belongings. Plus, you can carry it just about any way you want, and we like backpacks that do not dictate the terms and give us the option of choosing our preferred way of carrying the bag.

What Is a Cabin Max Backpack?

Cabin Max is one of the United Kingdom's most well-known and popular manufacturers and retailers of luggage solutions. What makes them different from the rest of them is that all of their products comply with most of the major airlines, including RyanAir, Easyjet, Jet2, Air France, Air Asia, and so on. Other than that, there isn't that much of a difference between a backpack from the company in question and any other quality rucksack. With their products, they strive for a perfect balance between a stylish design, durable structure, and excellent functionality. And while we don't feel like commenting on the former as the visual aspect of any product is always up to the individual's interpretation, we'd say that the company succeeds in terms providing a durable and functional product more often than not. Of course, a backpack is a backpack, so there isn't that much of a science behind it. Simply consider all of the pockets and compartments, take into consideration things like handles and keep in mind the size of the backpack and you should be able to make the right choice.

We all like to travel but you never know what will it be that you encounter on your travels. So it certainly wouldn't hurt to get yourself a luggage tag and bring a trusty umbrella with you.
