Intex Explorer K2 2-Person Inflatable Kayak
  • I chose the two-seater so that I could accommodate another person, or a dog. If you do go with this kayak, I recommend you set it up in your home first to get the hang of the inflation process, and make sure everything is in working order.
  • Overall it's a good kayak and very roomy for one person and decently roomy for two. I've used mine fishing in the ocean and it gets the job done.
  • The only reason I gave 4 stars is that with just one person paddling, even with the skeg, it doesn't track all that well. I
  • This is a great 2 person portable kayak than can be used as a 1 person.
  • "Two-person" might be a little optimistic, unless they are small persons

What customers say about "Construction"

Intex Explorer K2 2-Person Inflatable Kayak
  • I was hoping it would be this good. It was very durable material and surprisingly, the oars are great quality.
  • Never seemed to lose air, inflated very quickly and is made of quality materials. We dragged it back and forth on grass and rocks and it's perfectly fine.
  • We've been out on it 3 times so far, and no issues with her nails on the material. It seems like very good quality and I can see this lasting quite some time.
  • I'm 6 foot tall and there is plenty of room for me in the front or back seat of these, the material seems very heavy duty. These are very hard to beat for the price.
  • First off the quality is really quite good, the seam welds, material etc...all a higher standard the I expected.

What customers say about "Features"

Intex Explorer K2 2-Person Inflatable Kayak
  • A note- the power pump has a safety feature that results in the sections not fillling up as much as I would like. So, I use the power pump, then top off with the manual one.
  • A nice additional feature is a very large carrying bag with zipper on top for when the kayak is deflated.
  • The pump has a special feature so that whether you are pushing in or pulling out with the pump lever there is air going into the boat.
  • For the youngest kids one, there is also a 'safety strap' goes between the legs, this just a safety feature and should not be pulled tight, or so we found after jumping off the dock, it causes quite the wedgie!
  • A useful feature is the drain hole you can plug and unplug, so this lets you drain any water that gets stuck in the kayak.
